Personal Statement
Are you struggling to heal a splintered relationship or to mend from a broken one? Oftentimes we feel stuck, overwhelmed, or tangled in unhealthy relationship patterns that prohibit us from living optimally with a sense of peace and emotional well-being. We desire insight to better understand ourselves and the reasons we act in the ways that we do. We need tools to assist us in our quest to mend and develop healthy and harmonious relationships. I offer clients a safe environment to process hurts and examine dysfunctional relationship patterns that have led to current feelings of pain and distress.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I view my clients' challenges from a systems perspective- this means exploring current familial patterns that contribute to emotional distress and conflict, as well as examining family of origin patterns that impact the ways in which we relate to others in our present relationships.
Whether your struggle involves relationships within your nuclear, extended, or blended family, I have experience and expertise in helping families heal.
I have been described as warm, nurturing, compassionate, and genuine. I welcome the opportunity to partner with you as you journey into greater self-awareness, understanding, healing and restoration. She places a strong value on the client-therapist relationship and believes that this partnership is a vital component in the facilitation of healing, growth and change. While maintaining a strength-based and hope-filled perspective, clients working with Lynda are able to experience a sense of personal value and worth
