Mark Wagemaker

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

The focus of my practice and philosophy is transitions. Humans are constantly evolving—we transition from birth to death through a series of transformations. We are born, and we become children, teenagers, and adults. We transition from being a single person to someone in a partnership, and then sometimes back into singlehood. We work, retire, and many of us grow old. We change, and sometimes we don’t change gracefully. Each transition will be different for each individual—some will do so with ease, while others may struggle with the new path. Either way, I am passionate about being there for you through any of life’s challenging transformations.

Jennifer L Alvarez

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

I received my Master of Arts degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University in 2010 and a Certificate in Alcohol and Drug Studies in 2008 from Saddleback College. My experience started while working as a counselor in residential alcohol and drug treatment centers in California where I provided individual and group treatment. Following the work in addiction, I moved into serving welfare clients through the CAL Works program offering individual, group, and family therapy.
