Personal Statement
It is my goal as a counselor that I always offer an open environment that allows for each person to feel accepted, heard, and understood in their counseling journey. It is my belief that each person has the ability to grow and this growth is fostered in an environment where non-judgment and safety is always present. I will utilize a variety of techniques and therapies in collaboration with each person that I have the honor of counseling. It is my goal that each of my clients will feel heard and understood in order to find some clarity and peace.
Utilizing many different modalities such as expressive arts and sand tray techniques, she creatively adjusts the counseling process to meet the needs of each individual. Alison works well with all age groups and specializes in issues such as depression, internal conflict, relationships, and trauma.
