I have over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in an individual/couples/family/group setting as a licensed therapist. I am licensed in the state of Georgia and I have a Master's degree in Counseling. I also have specialized certifications which you will find listed below. I have studied various treatment approaches to support clients in successfully navigating through difficult periods in their life. I have worked with a range of issues including mood disorders, addiction, suicidal ideation, ADHD, marital/couples issues, military, and veterans issues. My goal is to help you utilize your existing tools and help you establish new tools to problem solve and provide you with clarity in your situation. I am a compassionate and empathetic therapist that utilizes the cognitive behavioral approach, but I am committed to helping you utilize techniques from other theoretical approaches to fit your needs. I truly believe that self-awareness and empathy are essential to positive mental and emotional well-being, and also incorporate mindfulness and motivational interviewing from a humanistic perspective to support your needs. I am a nationally certified counselor, with certifications in addiction, sexual dysfunction, school counseling, and telemental health.
