Tiffany Johnson, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor who enjoys providing individual and family counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. She practices from a client-centered philosophy, often utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Ms. Johnson believes that counseling is a collaborative process built upon a solid therapeutic relationship. She hopes that clients see their sessions as a safe, non-judgmental space where they can rediscover the strengths, skills, and tools necessary to navigate the challenges life can bring. Over the past 15 years, Ms. Johnson has had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly in diverse settings providing individual, group, and family therapy. She has worked at acute psychiatric hospitals, specifically with children and adolescents, group homes, nursing homes, and youth detention centers with the Department of Juvenile Justice. She has also worked as a counselor with the Department of Corrections. While serving these populations, Ms. Johnson developed a passion for working with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, social anxiety, trauma, and self-esteem issues. Ms. Johnson attended undergraduate school at Albany State University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She then obtained a Master’s Degree from Troy University in Counseling and Psychology. In her spare time, Ms. Johnson enjoys hiking, crocheting, reading, and being a fur mom to her dog Loki.
