Most clients would describe me as approachable, relational, effective, thorough, and teaching-oriented. After all, as a doctoral-level licensed professional counselor, my role is to work myself out of a job by assisting you to gain insight, skills, and renewed confidence. I have nearly 18 years of experience providing counseling to individuals struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, relationship conflict, low self-esteem, and communication difficulties. I tend to lean on cognitive behavioral, solution focused, and reality therapy techniques to aid individuals to improve their lives. I also provide clinical supervision to counselors-in-training which requires me to remain current on all research and evidenced based approaches to therapy.
