Ms. Mary Kay Rose has specialized in psychotherapy for over 15 years. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Cornell University. She later earned her master's degree in counseling from James Madison University. Ms. Rose offers her expertise to patients at NOCD in Charlottesville, VA. She has previously worked in community agencies and mental health facilities, where she has treated patients of all ages. She has developed expertise in exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy, with which she treats OCD and all its subtypes. During her sessions, Ms. Rose looks to get as much information about her patients as possible to establish the nature of situations that trigger OCD. She creates a non-judgmental space where her clients can feel comfortable to open up about themselves.
