I have been lucky to have helped individuals, groups, and families with a wide range of challenges and an even wider, more powerful, collection of strengths since 2008. I provide counseling to individuals dealing with life changes, relationship issues, behavioral problems, and more chronic problems of depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. What is your approach to therapy? As a professional counselor, I believe in the power of relationships, creativity, and connections to others. I believe that the counseling process is a collaboration between client and therapist. I believe that you are the expert of your life, and, within the framework of the therapeutic alliance, you can access their inner resources and experience change. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? My goal is to provide a supportive environment where we can explore your initial concerns, develop goals and discover strengths and resources as you move toward what really matters to you. I intentionally create a space that is safe, mindful, honest, and trustworthy. A place where anything is free to be expressed safely.
