I am Lauren Craney, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. My purpose as a therapist is to help you along the path to a functional and fulfilling life. Whether the obstacles to achieving this goal are habits and behaviors you want to change, relationship issues, or present and past traumas. We will work together to develop a comprehensive plan to alleviate or minimize stressors and struggles. The goal is to move in positive directions while establishing healthy coping skills. I use a variety of proven research-based practice methods tailored to your specific needs. These include, CBT approaches, mentoring and life coaching, trauma-informed therapies, and other evidence-based techniques. I have worked extensively with adults and adolescents in individual, family, and group settings (both inpatient and outpatient). My experience includes work in community mental health, educational, and substance abuse treatment environments. I continue to enhance my skills and techniques through ongoing education and individual practice research. Together we can begin on the path toward you becoming the person you want to be.
