It is my goal to help individuals achieve better performance, engagement and interpersonal relationships. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with a PhD in psychology and more than 10 years in practice. In addition to assessments and consulting, I offer online counseling for residents of Georgia. In counseling, I use a variety of approaches to address my clients’ unique needs. Most often, I'll pull from CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), as well as MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction). That said, I believe there is always more to learn, no matter how much experience you have on a topic. I like to read and attend trainings on treating anxiety and trauma. I love the opportunity to provide counseling via telehealth, which I have been doing for years - long before the pandemic. I believe in the right to access care, which can be challenging for people in rural areas, those with tight schedules, and those with small children at home. I'll meet you where you are!
