About

I am a licensed professional counselor in Georgia with over 7 years of experience working as a counselor. I have over 19 years of professional work in the justice system where I have worked with families in crisis, juveniles, and adults facing a myriad of struggles, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting challenges, grief, spirituality and ADHD. One of the greatest lessons I have learned is that life is about settling the storm, not running away or toward it, but settling it in a peaceful, honest, and non-judgmental environment.

As a counselor, I am present, active, and unique. I aim to respect your thoughts and feelings and show a level of sensitivity during your time of need. I believe in challenging you to be the best version that God created. My underlying approach is Adlerian, and I utilize techniques associated with cognitive-behavioral and person-centered therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

As humans, it is normal for our hearts to vent. Asking for help is not always our first response to an emotional situation; however, if you are reading this you have made the first step and your rainbow-your promise-awaits you.
