My name is Denise Hill; I graduated from The University of Georgia in 2005 with a Master of Social Work and have been accredited as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2009. I also hold a Master Addiction Counselor certificate with the National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals. My aim with clients is to identify specific and realistic goals and partner with them to achieve those goals, whether they are long or short-term. I also help clients identify and utilize healthy coping strategies and face struggles and hardships from their pasts so they can realize their own potential and participate fully in life. I see individuals 18-years-old and older and I work with families. I use a range of therapeutic modalities, tailored to fit each clients’ specific situation, stressors, and personal strengths. I strive to meet each client where they are in life. I provide multicultural counseling and am an ally of persons within the LGBTQ+ community. I hope to have the opportunity to join you in your journey.
