About
With 25 years of professional social work practice, I help adults cope with stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and all life changes, including acute medical conditions and preparation for end of life. I have worked extensively with cancer survivors and their families to cope with changes in work and family life. I have also worked with individuals to overcome depression and navigate daily stress. No problem is too big or small to navigate healthily.
Helping people find peace and enjoy life in the midst of life-threatening illness is possible. It’s also possible to cope with everyday stressors and life changes – big and small – with the right support. I can help you. I am here to listen and help you with the challenges that brought you to seek help. You are unique and your story is one that needs to be heard. Taking the first step in seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
I believe in the power of mindfulness to build resiliency and find peace. To support you, I will incorporate mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques as well as therapeutic practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, depending on your needs. I am also a certified yoga teacher. I look forward to working with you to find peace and balance in your life and relationships.
