About

Hello, my name is Dr. Kimberly Deus Sullivan. I am a psychologist who has a wide range of different settings that I have gained my experience of over 20 years in the field. I have been married for too long to say and have 2 teenaged boys and a dog. I have had the joy in having worked in certain clinical settings such as private practice, school settings, church and university settings. I also have been an adjunct professor teaching subjects such as Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychology 101.

The clients I often see are individual adults, children, and adolescents. The approach of counseling that I utilize addresses your physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. I have done a lot of work with parenting problems, depression, anxiety, ADHD, kids who are being bullied, and children/adolescence who have and a specialized school plan such as an IEP or 504. I have also worked with divorce issues and custody issues.

My therapeutic style is an integrative, client-centered manner that creates an environment to ensure that the highest quality care is provided. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques that include Behavioral, Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness-based Therapy, as well as Psychoeducational. I promote growth with my clients by offering a safe, accepting atmosphere, so that you can feel heard, validated, and supported.
