About
David C. Withrow Licensed Clinical Social Worker My education in the Social Work field began in Morgantown, WV. I received my Master’s degree in Social Work and did some research with the individuals in the mountain regions of West Virginia. The individuals were those who would not seek out mental health services for themselves because they were accustomed to living in very small communities with no mental health services. Growing up in this area, I knew that being honest and forthright with people was the only way that they would build trust in me and speak to me about the issues that affected their lives. I have carried those early lessons with me by way of Florida and the state of Texas. My continued experience has led me to work with individuals suffering from depression and anxiety using a client centered approach and cognitive behavioral therapy. A client-centered approach means that the client and I focus on the issues in their lives and how we can work on them with different techniques that will assist with positive outcomes. I have also worked with different types of individuals in a variety of settings both public and private. I have helped individuals find the answers they need to lead a more positive and productive life! My expertise is in depression, anxiety, and anxiety from childhood issues, trauma, PTSD, addictions as well as relationship issues. Daily life is difficult and helping someone by sharing coping skills and methods to help ease anxiety is something that I enjoy. Our lives can be rich and fulfilling when we learn how to cope with daily stresses and relationships. Please allow me to help you find the answers you are searching for and allow me to help you have an enriched and positive life.
