About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2014. I am a National Certified Counselor, Certified Grief Counselor, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist. I focus mostly on CBT and Motivational Interviewing to help clients to gain insight and motivation for change in their own lives but absolutely apply other modality based on what needs clients present as I am client centered. I am also solution focused so that we can get started as soon as you are comfortable to begin this journey. In working with me, your safety is paramount and I will ensure that my skills are utilized in helping you feel safe to share your struggles and work on getting through your challenges. I am trauma informed, compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental in my work with clients to build rapport and help them feel comfortable to work to overcome their struggles. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family.
