Welcome! I am glad you’re here. It’s important to trust and feel comfortable with the therapist you work with as it can make all the difference in your personal journey! That being said, I’d like to introduce myself so that you have an idea who I am.

My name is Angela and I’m a University of Missouri cum laude honors graduate with a Bachelor and Master degree in Social Work. I also am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the state of Missouri with over eleven years of experience in the mental health field.

I have worked in various settings including residential, hospital, outpatient and community based programs. I have provided therapy, intensive case management, intake assessments and crisis intervention for people of all ages with varying concerns. Not only have I provided direct care work to patients but have also supervised programs that provide intensive mental health treatment. In this role, my dedication to quality care and positive outcomes have been of utmost importance just as much as my role as a therapist.

My approach is warm, non-judgmental, person-centered and strength based. I use methods from evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing as well as the Trauma Informed Care framework.

I want to reiterate that I am glad you’re here reaching out for help. It may be difficult to do, so I assure that I will put forth all efforts towards creating a safe, inviting place that will go at a pace that is most comfortable for you. I would be honored to work with you and look forward to it!
