Personal Statement
Her holistic approach views success and struggle through multiple lenses such as physical wellness, relationship and environment, as well as thoughts, emotion and behavior. Each client discovers strategies and insights that are unique to them that promotes change from the inside out.
Wendy incorporates a traditional psychodynamic approach, play and art therapy, as well as mindfulness and body-oriented interventions. Clients learn to self-soothe, alleviate symptoms of stress with integrated CBT and ACT techniques by reframing emotions or negative thought patterns and make sense of traumatic stress. She uses her training in yoga to create opportunities for a greater sense of physical and emotional control.
