Personal Statement
Welcome! You must be here because you are searching. Searching for insight, for support, for education, for compassion. It's wonderful that you are taking proactive steps toward peace and fulfillment. I applaud your determination. I have been educating and lifting up others in the counseling field for over 30 years now.
My years of experience has brought me together with some of the most interesting and resilient people I have ever had the honor to work with. I believe successful psychotherapy is based upon mutual respect and trust, as you and I will be a team. I have worked with such a diverse variety of people from all walks of life, in many different phases of life. Relationship issues, depression, anxiety, goal setting, addictions, trauma healing, and so much more. You will find me easy to trust and talk to, safe, supportive, intelligent, and experienced.
I understand that reaching out for professional support can feel daunting, sometimes scary, but know that you are not alone. In fact, you probably know someone who has benefitted from participating in psychotherapy. In reality, there is nothing mysterious about therapy or shameful in seeking help. It takes great courage to ask for assistance. Think of a time in your life when you kept struggling with something, just couldn't seem to get what you needed. You tried and tried to "fix" it by yourself. No success. "Why is this so difficult?!", you may have thought. Then one day, you were introduced to a different tool for the job, and YOU DID IT ! Psychotherapy is simply taking a look at some possible tools you haven't considered yet. So keep moving forward. I would be happy to help you on this journey. Peace.
