Personal Statement
I work with adolescents and adults including families and couples. I believe the relationship you have with yourself determines the fabric of all relationships you have in life. I come from a psychodynamic approach weaving in appropriate modalities to fit the specific needs of my clients.
My goal as a therapist is to be a trusted source of support land guidance on the journey to a more satisfying life. My role as a therapist is to help people think more clearly about the challenges they face, understand the dynamics that underlie those challenges and work collaboratively to find lasting solutions. I join with my clients to resolve current difficulties and improve resiliency by identifying individual strengths and reinforcing those strengths throughout our work together.
I use an integrative approach and part of that approach includes creating a safe working relationship with my clients. My strong belief in every client's desire and ability to create lasting change in their lives guides and enhances my practice with everyone I meet.
