Personal Statement
Vanessa works primarily with adults, couples, and families as well as youth from age 12 to 17. Vanessa is committed to creating a counseling approach that fits each individual. Vanessa enjoys working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders, stressful life events, parenting issues, and more.
Utilizing a strengths perspective, I believe that we can work together to overcome whatever obstacles you may face. We all face difficult times and I strongly believe that therapy can be just the tool to help individuals deal with whatever problems they are experiencing. As a social worker, I am committed to exploring all environmental impacts and the effects they have on each individual.
While I have experience in different types of social work positions, I have found that through counseling, I can help individuals deal with problems and grow.
