Personal Statement
I welcome clients from all walks of life. Primarily I see people individually, though occasionally will bring a family member, partner, or spouse for a joint session. I’ve worked with extensively with adolescents and teenagers in the past, though they are no longer the main population focus of my practice. I see teens, young adults, adults, and elders. Some of my clients are dealing with anxiety and depression, whether as a result of a life stressor or deeper cause. Some of my clients simply want to come to know themselves better.
I specialize in those who are navigating disordered eating as well as people dealing with the effects of trauma, particularly adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Additionally, I am passionate about supporting young adult women in stepping into greater power and purpose; I am committed to helping my clients create lives for themselves that they are excited about. If you feel like we might be a good fit and you don’t fall into one of those categories, I encourage you to reach out and connect with me anyways!
I am committed to providing therapy that is open, inclusive, and in a nondiscriminatory environment for all individuals across differences in race, religion, sexual orientation (LGBTQQIP2SAA), gender identity, national origin, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, age, physical ability, and medical condition.
I regard my work as part of an on-going practice of awareness in relation to the continued effects of colonization, power, and privilege.

Heart Wisdom Therapy
Your therapy is informed by a number of styles and traditions, but at the core is based around my own practice and study of mindfulness-based embodiment and somatics. I bring a style that is warm, highly intuitive, and relational. Our time together is client-centered and humanistically-oriented. I believe that you already have the resources you need, and our work is a process of uncovering. What this looks like in the room is different with every client.
