Personal Statement
Everyone brings beauty & meaning to the world, but some people have trouble discovering it. I work with children, pre-teens, adolescents, and adults of all ages. Frequent mental health challenges for clients that I often work with include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem, shame, stress, pornography addiction, & boundaries. I enjoy helping with parent-child interactions and communication & empowering clients to make positive changes. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & pull from many different, creative tools from a variety of theoretical orientations. I also offer Christian counseling.
Counseling is not a sign of weakness, but rather, a sign in your life that something simply isn't working any more. It all starts with allowing the client to be themselves in a comfortable & safe environment where they are free to laugh, cry, explore their inner self, and to examine past behaviors and beliefs that might no longer be serving them. I also offer video sessions during this time for COVID-19.
