Personal Statement

Do daily challenges often cause you to feel overwhelmed? Are there thoughts, behaviors, or feelings that get in the way of your ability to form close and stable relationships? Do distressing experiences that you had in the past make it hard for you to feel safe in the world or trust others? If any of these questions resonate with you, I would like to help.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than five years of experience working with adults suffering from depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, anger issues, parenting difficulties, low self-esteem, and many other behavioral and mental health challenges that get in the way of achieving their goals, whether personally or professionally.

As a therapist I have a relational, down-to-earth style and believe in the power of therapy to help a person address the challenges that are getting in their way. I also believe that while exploring one's past can be helpful in the journey toward healing, this is not a requirement for immediately creating more joy and peace in the present.
