Personal Statement

His passion in counseling is focusing on the family. I have gained much satisfaction in helping couples and families address conflict and crisis, resulting in a more harmonious family unit. Another area of expertise is mental health therapy. Both areas of specialty equip me to effectively treat relationship and mental hurdles.

The dynamics found within the family include child and adolescent issues, addictions, and especially marital problems. Tim is currently in the process of pursuing Gottman certification in couples therapy from co-founders John and Julie Gottman. Currently he has completed Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and applies Gottman Method Couples Therapy in his work.

As a competent Christian Counselor, I combine both Biblical principals and practical education to best serve my clients. I use whatever modality that is necessary for the good of the client, while applying currents skills and information.
