Personal Statement
During my two decades as a therapist I have come to view therapy as a powerful process of self discovery and healing where numerous lessons can be learned, strengths developed, and deepest truths honored. Having witnessed again and again the innate pull toward change and growth that exists within each of us.
There is growing evidence for the benefits of mindfulness on our health and well-being, but what does it actually mean to be mindful and how can it help us achieve greater wellness? Put simply, mindfulness is where we focus on our thoughts, feelings and environment. We do not pass any judgment on these.
I am an optimist who offers my clients deep respect, genuine warmth and caring and a pleasant, safe and nurturing environment that promotes creativity, self expression, and personal growth.
