Personal Statement

Stacey Kinney has specialized training in Child Custody Evaluations and over 20 years of clinical experience working with children and families in Orange County. As a clinician, she has experience with families affected by trauma, child abuse, substance abuse, domestic violence, crime, the justice system divorce and those suffering from depression, grief/loss, anxiety, drug, and alcohol abuse. Stacey tailors her therapy with her clients to meet their unique needs using cognitive behavioral and EMDR therapies. Stacey is certified in EMDR therapy and is also an EMDR consultant in training. She has experience testifying and preparing reports for Juvenile and Family Court where she has made recommendations for placement, custody, and treatment.

I help individuals and families affected by abuse, trauma, domestic violence, divorce and separation to overcome these experiences and lead healthy, happy lives. I see adults, teens and children in individual or family therapy. I also complete child custody evaluations for family court.
