Personal Statement

I have been working in the field of clinical social work for over 30 years. Working in both clinic and private practice settings, she has worked with children, adolescents and adults, utilizing reality-oriented, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and solution focused brief therapy, treatment approaches.

It is my experience that the best results come when a therapist and client work as a team, focusing on specific goals. It is the therapeutic alliance that yields healing and movement towards accomplishing goals. It is essential that you find a psychotherapist with whom you feel comfortable discussing the important details of your life.
