Personal Statement
Seth Michael Metevier views life events and transitions as powerful opportunities for change and believes in the capacity for self-healing and transformation. The focus and intention of his professional life and practice is to support individuals on their path as they navigate these events and transitions to recognize their full potential, reconnect to strengths and resources, discover healthy ways of coping and maximize overall wellness and functioning. He approaches each individual from a place of compassion, integrity and respect for where each person is at and sees the process of psychotherapy as a collaborative effort toward identifying personal barriers, understanding challenges and working towards a plan for change to enhance the quality of life. He helps to promote mind-body-spirit awareness and wellness with the goal of supporting the development of one’s natural capacity for healing and recovery of life balance.
