Personal Statement

Is life not working out quite how you imagined? Do you find yourself tripping over the same issues time and time again? From the outside, it might look like you have it all together, but you feel like you're drowning under all the pressure. Maybe you're ready to make a change. I am here to help- these are obstacles we can overcome together. Anxiety, self-esteem, and perfectionism are my speciality. In our work together, we can look at how your thoughts and behaviors are helpful, or not-so-helpful, in creating your best life.

I am passionate about working with young adults, college students, and teenagers, as well as couples. I utilize a blend of cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based therapies, as well as expressive arts therapy. I am also a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator, and offer both pre-marital and marriage counseling.

Positive psychology informs my practice- this means we will go beyond addressing the issues that brought you into therapy, and spend time leveraging your strengths to reveal your authentic self. I believe in the mind-body-spirit connection, and am able to provide a Christian perspective if you desire.
