Personal Statement
If you have been experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, or struggling with interpersonal relationships you have landed in the right place. For more than 22 years I have been working with people of all ages to overcome their struggles and find greater peace, a stronger sense of self, better relationships and a greater capacity to manage their daily lives more effectively.
Therapeutic approaches drawn from include a combination of these practices with a specialization in EMDR:
*EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
*Mindfulness-based CBT
*Emotional Freedom Technique
*Somatic work
*Internal Family Systems
*Self-compassion-focused work
*supportive psychotherapy
*Play and Sand Tray therapy when working with children
*Parent guidance therapy
Although I draw from a combination of effective therapeutic approaches, I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship is a key factor in the therapy process. Providing a safe, accepting, and resourceful space where clients are seen, respected and valued is paramount to a positive outcome in the therapeutic process. It is only within the context of trust and openness that painful feelings and experiences can be unpacked, worked through, and resolved together.
I truly believe we all have the capacity to overcome our struggles and thrive in the life we wish to create.
It would be a privilege to participate in a small piece of your story. I invite you to reach out today for more information or to arrange an exploratory consultation to see if we are a good match for you or your child's needs.
For more information or to arrange a no-cost 30-minute exploratory call please reach out via text, email or phone. I will respond to your questions or to arrange a call within 24 hours.
