Personal Statement

Hello! Glad you were able to make it to my profile! I am a steadfast, yet responsive, creative counselor and Life Coach with a Christian orientation! My background is highly relevant to serve adults (including seniors), adolescents and children! I have decades of experience as a counselor and educator (K-12, college, professional and adult) as well as significant business background. I truly find joy in helping people out of serious problems and to optimize the pathways of those pursuing their mission in life.

The patients and clients who are most pleased with my services appreciate that I accept some level of pastoral responsibly as we process their history and orientation, including painful marriage and family issues. Clearly, I value self direction and free will. I believe these are best activated through holistic approaches that consider the full person - body, soul and spirit! - with an eye towards seeking God's support. I understand that people can fall into very dark places and have deep shame, yet gradually be transformed into very positive individuals in a pathway to constructive healing, meaning and life success with much better choices.

My mental health practice is fairly broad because my life's work has extended into many environments, domains of treatment and education. I want the very best for my patients and clients and to work from the full scope of my knowledge base which includes teaching High School Science and much more! Those well enough to seek my coaching services will find that I like to spend considerable time helping to clarify goals and objectives and to evaluate progress with an eye towards "best fit", optimizing processes, outcomes and adjustments.
