Personal Statement
It has been said that "people start to heal the moment they feel heard.” I truly believe that. My top priority as a therapist is to offer support, compassion, and acceptance to guide my patients toward living a happier and more fulfilling life. I provide a safe and welcoming environment that will allow you to fully express yourself, gain insight into your behavior, and develop the skills you need to face life's challenges.
I help people who are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and infertility. I use a strengths-based approach and incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Buddhist Psychology, and Mindfulness. As someone who has struggled personally with a chronic illness, I know firsthand the emotional and psychological toll it can take, and the importance of feeling supported while trying to manage chronic pain and other disabling symptoms. It can be enormously helpful to have someone to talk to who knows what you're going through, particularly when people around you, including doctors, may not understand or may judge you.
If you are struggling with life right now, you don't have to suffer alone. Through the journey we take together, I can help you heal from painful experiences, grow in meaningful ways, and live the life you've been wanting to lead.
