Personal Statement

As a Licensed Medical Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor, Trish Fox brings over 20 years of experience and compassion to Connections Counseling, as she assists clients through life’s difficult passages. Her vast social and human services efforts demonstrate her passion to help those who are at risk - women, children and troubled teens - through agencies that serve and protect them.

When we are experiencing conflict in our lives and families, we can feel cut off - from the social interaction that binds us all together, as well as from our own selves. We feel lost. We forget who we are.

Her work with SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect), and the Allen County court system has addressed many of the problems affecting children and families today. She serves on the board for Center for Non-Violence in Fort Wayne and Catholic Charities Fort Wayne-South Bend. She has also shares her expertise in the classroom at the University of Saint Francis, where she has taught for many years.

Connections counselors have spent years empowering women, children and entire families to meet the challenges they face in ways that bring them lives of balance and fulfillment. They have the training, background and experience - but foremost the compassion - to equip people facing some of life’s most stressful situations with the tools they need not only to survive, but to thrive.
