Personal Statement

I am a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor in both Texas and Utah (CMHC). I've recently joined Therapy Works Counseling Center located in Dallas, Texas. I have experience in working with diverse clients. My background is in education, law enforcement, juvenile justice system and mental health bringing me a wealth of opportunities to help my clients. I'm culturally diverse and both my professional and personal experiences have been helpful in shining light for client's in their darkest moments. Empowering my clients is my "Why". I use trauma-informed, client-centered, eclectic approaches and evidence based counseling techniques. I find fulfillment in helping others work through past and current issues along with identifying strategies that will help in coping with current hardships.
