Nevin Alderman is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), and has been practicing on a Master's Level in the field of mental health for almost a decade. Nevin has experience in numerous facets of mental health counseling, including inpatient acute settings, residential treatment, and community-based services. Nevin has several specialty areas, including: couples therapy, family relational issues, anxiety, mood disorders, destructive behavior, trauma, attachment and substance abuse. Nevin has a passion for the field of mental health, and a strong belief in the capacity of couples, families and individuals to grow and overcome life's obstacles.
Nevin has been honored to hold numerous capacities wherein he has provided clinical administration, including serving as the Executive Clinical Director at a renowned treatment center for families. In addition to traditional clinical and administrative work, Nevin has been facilitating parent and family workshops, and multi-systemic groups and seminars since 2008. Nevin has been invited to address local, regional and national professional therapeutic audiences. Nevin's greatest passion is providing therapeutic services for couples desiring a renewed relationship.
Nevin is blessed to be married to his best friend, and cherished companion of 12 years. Together they have two boys, who bring great joy to their home and lives. Nevin's favorite past time is quality time with his family, though he prefers ATV'ing to most other family activities.
