Personal Statement
A licensed professional counselor, Mollie has a Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family therapy with an emphasis in Community Counseling from John Brown University and has experience working with clients from a variety of ages and backgrounds.
Mollie’s passion is working with clients who desire to experience not only a reduction in distressing symptoms, but also a deeper level of self-awareness, personal growth, and authenticity. Mollie enjoys working with clients on anxiety, depression, anger, loss or trauma, relationship issues, stress, transitions, and other areas of growth.
Mollie is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a type of therapy designed to lessen distress related to traumatic events or disturbing memories. Mollie uses EMDR with adults and teenagers and can also adapt EMDR to include play therapy for children.
