Personal Statement
I wasn't always a therapist - I have worked in the Fortune 500 world and have also owned my own small business. In fact, I have nearly three decades of practical experience and hard-earned insights that I bring to every conversation. You’ll experience a fresh perspective through calming conversation, appropriate challenging, and gentle humor.
Are you struggling through anxiety, depression, or stress over a life transition? Perhaps you feel as if you’re being pulled in too many directions at once? Or you wonder if you’re making the right decision about your relationship, your career, or your purpose? I'll help you identify what’s troubling you, and guide you to the changes you desire by exploring the feelings, experiences, and blind spots that may be holding your back from making progress. Together, we'll work to get you feeling better and build a clearer sense of yourself and your future.
You may find my approach a little more practical and directive than other therapists. You’ll also find I’m someone who cares about helping in a way that isn’t canned, formulaic, or pushy. I love supporting clients in coming to a deeper understanding of both themselves and their goals in life. In the very first session we have together, we'll develop specific goals that you want to work toward. Then, from session to session, I’ll make sure we’re always keeping them in mind.
I invite you to get in touch with me for a no-cost initial phone consultation to discuss what you would like to work on in therapy and ask any questions you might have. Sorry, I don't take health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. My office is located near I-25 and Speer Blvd in Denver. Free parking is available. Virtual appointments are also available.
