Personal Statement

I am passionate about working with individuals on illness education, symptom management, cognitive restructuring, affect regulation, behavior modification, and interpersonal skill development. My goal is to provide a safe environment for people to learn about themselves, begin to love who they are, and overcome social, emotional, economical, and vocational struggles while reaching their full potential in life. I want to help those who feel unloved and broken return to feeling whole again with active encouragement and support.

I have found a creative balance in applying therapeutic techniques from DBT, EMDR, CBT, and ACT in helping clients become more aware of thinking styles, the effects and correlations with emotions, behaviors, value systems, & consequences.
