Personal Statement

I believe that the potential for growth and change is within each of us. It’s like a germinating seed just waiting for the right amount of sunshine and rain to help it grow.

The process of therapy, through self-discovery, insight, boundary setting and the development of coping and other skills (like learning to say "NO!") will help us uncover the strength that already lies within you!

As a therapist, it’s my job to come alongside you in partnership for growth. We will explore negative thinking patterns or behaviors that have you stuck, evaluate your preferences for how you would like your future to be different from your present, and together, we begin to re-write your life’s story by taking goal-oriented action.

I often utilize technology and apps in session, and love to send clients things to work on and read in between. Therapy is a process. It is not an instant fix but rather a long-lasting relationship and journey that we are on together.
