Personal Statement

I can say with great confidence that you are not alone in your challenges, and that you don't have to carry your burden by yourself. With patience and persistence, my clients cultivate greater confidence and self-esteem, richer relationships, and more emotional balance and health. I believe that we all need someone to talk with who will listen and accept us as we are, without judgment. Because of this, I provide my clients with a warm, nonjudgmental environment- a safe place to explore the issues that may be preventing you from living the life you want.

My focuses include sex therapy and couples work. I have completed trainings in Gottman Therapy, and have received extensive acknowledgement for my work within the sexual health field, including being voted as the San Francisco Bay Area AASECT leader.

Together we will set specific and measurable goals, highlight your strengths, resources and positive aspects of your life, as well as be reflective and openly curious about the difficulties you are experiencing. I tailor counseling to fit your needs, versus applying a "one size fits all" approach.
