Personal Statement

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, EMDR Therapist, and Play Therapist who has 20 years experience working in the mental health field. I specialize in working with children and adolescents who have been victims of crime, have been sexually abused and/or traumatized. I also help children with behavioral problems, attachment disorders, and provide parents with guidance.

For adolescents and adults, I provide counseling for depression, anxiety,divorce, self-harm behavior,body image disorders, and substance abuse issues. I also assist parents with divorce counseling on working together for the benefit of their kids.

I have recevied training for EMDR and can work with clients that have experienced trauma related anxieties and negative core belief systems.

I administer psychological evaluations for immigration and for court. I can do assessments for children as well with regards to immigration or ADHD. I also perform depression assessments, anxiety assessments and substance abuse assessments.
