Personal Statement
My career was inspired by my own journey through trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. For years I suffered and there seemed to be no one willing or able to help me find relief. From a place of helplessness and hopelessness I decided that, once I found my way to my own healing, I would work to help others never have to experience the desperation I had. After years of work and progress, I am able to say that recovery is possible. Now every day I make sure stories are heard.
Through my practice I offer both short term counseling and in-depth therapy via telehealth for those dealing with a variety of mental health concerns. I provide compassionate, client-centered, trauma-informed mental health treatment with the hopes of creating a safe space for my clients to heal, even in a virtual environment. With over five years of experience and several certifications in treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Instinctual Trauma Response Therapy I ensure quality treatment for all of my clients.
