Personal Statement

In my practice, I provide a relationship that nurtures personal growth. I am a mental health counselor and art psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience. I offer a comfortable, supportive environment to help address issues such as anxiety, depression, change, grief and loss. My holistic approach incorporates mindfulness, meditation and the mind-body connection.

I look for new and creative ways to address problems facing women today, problems that affect relationships, career or personal development. I am a firm believer in finding the right therapist for each person, and will always be working toward creating a positive therapeutic relationship.

I have experience working with young children struggling with changes in family structure, divorce, new additions to home life or a death in the family. I provide a safe and comfortable place for children to express powerful emotions, and increase understanding of the changes they are going through.
