Personal Statement
It isn't easy to make a first appointment with a therapist. Most people think about it for a long time, then think about it some more. But when there's too much fighting, too little energy, too much worry, or loneliness, or disappointment, or just a feeling that something isn't right, it can be a big relief to take that step and do something about it. Therapy can help you to feel better, to be more productive, and to have better relationships.
I work with people struggling with anxiety or depression, life changes, career challenges, or trauma. I work with people who are simply looking for growth, balance, or creativity. I practice both brief and long-term therapy. I specialize in working with couples, including multicultural couples, couples in blended families, and couples going through divorce. I have a lot of experience helping teenagers and parents to understand and manage all those changes. I have worked in anger management for the last seven years.
