Personal Statement

As both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Registered Nurse, I offer supportive, practical and therapeutic sessions. At this time due to the ongoing health crisis I am meeting patients over zoom. I do hope to return to physical meetings in the near future.

While I am open to most honest seekers, most of my patients come to me for support and guidance while they are adjusting to a new medical diagnosis, including a new diagnosis within their family. My nursing work has been focused on Hospice and Palliative work. I also have extensive professional history in working with substance use issues, depression, and parenting.

If you are looking for a quiet listener who avoids suggestions, I am not your therapist! The Nurse in me can't help but to try to offer practical steps to get you where you want to go. On the other hand if you want to talk and get both support and practical steps, I'll do my best for you.
