Personal Statement
The children are the future, which is why it is so important to provide them with encouragement and support during the most precious years of growth. My clinical specialty is with middle- and high-school aged youth, particularly those struggling with anxiety or other emotional difficulties. I aim to create a safe, welcoming environment in which they can feel comfortable discussing their thoughts and feelings, and learn which tools work best for them to achieve the greatest possible quality of life outside the office.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker, and I have experience working one-on-one with children and their families in a community mental health setting, as well as a long history of working with large groups of youth in a summer day camp setting.
I have my Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan, with a concentration in Interpersonal Practice with Children, Youth, and Families. I also have my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
