Personal Statement
Therapy is a place to create new meaning. In a safe and caring environment, I collaborate to discover each person's hopes for the future. Are you a couple looking to work together as a team, or a person hoping to engage new solutions? As a family, are you wanting to rewrite your family stories and hold respectful, successful dialogues? I have years of experience as a narrative therapist, and provide help for you to achieve each of your individual goals. My 25 years of experience in making art informs the creativity I bring to psychotherapy.
This view of life says that there are limitless ways in which individuals, families, and communities can make sense of their experiences. Some of the narratives we take up in our lives, however, prove to be less helpful than others.

Narrative Counseling Center
At Narrative Counseling Center, we are committed to facilitating this process with creative collaboration. A basic assumption of narrative psychotherapy is that people are inherently resourceful and the experts on their own lives. We focus on client’s strengths when discussing problems, creating a context for therapy to move in a positive direction. All individuals, couples and families have the ability to overcome problems and achieve more fulfilling stories for the future.
