Personal Statement
My purpose as a counselor is to help you find balance with your thoughts and feelings so that you may begin to take action on what is important to you. Worry and despair can feel paralyzing and we may end up in a cycle of trying to avoid those feelings. Unfortunately, the consequence of avoiding is missing out on what makes life most enjoyable.
I focus my practice on assisting clients in clarifying their values, learn skills to accept and tolerate difficult emotions, and live more mindfully. Through your personal strength and the power of a supportive relationship, the "stuff" that has been weighing you down can start to feel lighter.
