Personal Statement

My passion is helping people live meaningful and connected lives. When there is relationship conflict and lack of connection, mental health pain arises such as anxiety and depression. You do not need to continue to suffer. I come from a client-centered approach with the greatest attention to creating a trusting and safe therapeutic relationship to foster change in your life. I really value and encourage my clients to make sense of their pain and begin the steps to healing and growth.

I have advanced training in EFT which is the gold standard of couples therapy. I am certified in EMDR, a trauma recovery treatment. I also have extensive experience working with college students in navigating life amidst the demands of higher education.

I work hard to individualize treatment based on your situation and your needs. I value ongoing learning and training and continue to receive consultation to give my clients the best possible outcome for the effort they are investing.
